Revolution Medical's Retractable Safety Syringe Gets FDA OK
Revolution Medical, a small firm out of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, won FDA approval to market the firm's innovative safety syringe. The unit develops a vacuum inside the chamber as the plunger is depressed. When it reaches the end, the needle breaks through the plunger's membrane and gets sucked into the chamber.
